Description

NASX 147 Plains Indian Sign Language
3 Credits
This course studies the primary form of communication at the forefront of interaction between all tribes from the northern borders of Canada to the southern borders of Mexico. Instruction includes Piikani language in combination with the hand and body gestures. Students learn approximately 200 sign gestures for conversational purposes.
